Who Am I?

I know what it’s like to go from feeling comfortable and financially secure and looking forward to my life after retirement … to experiencing an event that throws your life into chaos and makes you realize that you were not financially prepared for this!

I know because it happened to me … a layoff that I NEVER SAW COMING! The 3rd one since turning 50-years old!

Oh sure, I beat myself up for not planning and preparing better.

But then I took action to overcome that situation … to create a plan for finally doing something I always wanted to do, … something that would be my own, … something that would make me feel valued and significant once again, … something that would use the knowledge, skills and time I already had been using for someone else’s profit and dreams… and use them to build my own dreams!   

But something unexpected happened. I realized I was not alone and heard a call — “here is your new passion and purpose – help others transform and achieve their goals and dreams”.

From my experience with increasing rank and responsibilities in a US military career; leadership experiences and roles as a military officer and engineer / manager working with corporate professionals; ministering in a religious organization; from encouragement from those who know me; … and yes, from overcoming many challenges and failures along the way, I have created a “Your Next Stage” program and community with a mission to create one’s next season – their Next Stage – defined by purpose, impact, and balance.

The impact on me? It was now my choice, my future to build … taking me into the Next Stage of my career and season of my life.

There are many people and entrepreneurs who have started online businesses. Many claim success, few have actually have attained it.

Myths and claims abound about the things you ‘won’t need’ or ‘will need’ … things like time, passion, money / capital, work, a business plan / strategy, skills / talents, or a lot of luck. So what is the truth?

I have found through my research, from the wisdom and experience of my trusted coaches, and from my personal experience that some of those things may be true — in some cases and to some degree.

But which ones do you really need and will, when you identify and leverage them, have the greatest impact and offer you the greatest chance of success in getting started?

In this module we will explore and discuss many factors … including to recognize your strengths, skills, talents, … which could lead to discovering your passion and purpose.

And in alignment with those factors and traits, you will gain clarity and identify exactly what you don’t need and what you do need to prepare and to launch your own online business.

With these business skills, your business foundation will be SET.

Module Three
Pre-Launch Operations

WHO

Outcome

  • Determine this critical marketing factor — who and where your customer / target audience is.  
  • Create your market research plan to communicate with potential customers to understand their needs, desires, pain and expectations.  
  • Hidden Skillset Discovery – This exercise will help you legitimize what you should be doing for your business and also give you answers about your skill set that you may have discreetly known, but not openly admitted to yourself that will play a vital role in creating a successful business.  
  • Shortlist the marketing channels that will help you attract your specific demographic audience and develop timeline-based goals of how to go about using these channels for reach outs.  
  • Nurture your contacts / prospects to leverage them to gain publicity when you are ready to launch your business.

In this module you will focus on WHO will make your business successful and learn the real secret of success in any business — finding and meeting the needs and interests of your customers. 

You will do that by learning to identify and establish your business niche, the importance of branding YOU, ways to build your list of potential customers, why and how to conduct market research, and the best platform for your target audience to ‘see’ when they are introduced to and come to your business. 

Module Four
Pre-Launch Operations

PLAN

Outcome

  • You will Choose and Create a detailed Transition PLAN to build your new business with confidence & proper resources in place:

    • 1. Part-Time while still retaining your ‘job’ so that it ‘graduates’ into a Full-Time business, … or …
    2. Know that you are ready to get started now – Full-Time

    • Choose how the world will come to know you — your legal business structure, domain name, social advertising platforms you will be advertising on, the name of your business, and more.  
    • Have the framework and structure that you can implement and leverage to create a profitable, sustainable income and be successful in an online business format. 
    • Create your End Goal Business Plan including core elements, timelines, etc. post full time transition. 
    • You’re on the Launchpad.  Let’s choose your business legal entity, advertising platform(s), domain name, payment platform, etc. 

Description

We will discuss your business strategies — the core elements of your business, its objectives and your timeline. 

We will look at your own transformation, ways to test your business idea to build confidence and clarity of where you are headed, what’s already working in your business space, and even make calls to potential customers to test your business idea. 

All of this and more will be the foundation of the creation of your PLAN — the roadmap and decisions that will ‘get you there’. 

Module Five
Pre-Launch Operations

CREATE

Outcome

At the end of this module and training you will be ready to CREATE your Roadmap to starting your online business.

Description

We will be discussing how to structure together all of the previous elements of your business that you have thought of, worked on and chosen. 

Together we will look at your objectives and work backwards (some call it ‘reverse engineering’) if necessary, to prioritize and sequence your efforts and time. 

Module Six
The Countdown and Launch

PRESENT

Outcome

  • PRESENT your business ideas and plan and current implementation to other group members. 
  • Make any necessary ‘course corrections’ based on the ideas of fellow business launchers. 

Description

What better place than here and now to PRESENT your business ideas, structure, and overall launch plan than to course members you have been working with for 9+ weeks. 

This will be a good sounding board to get feedback and help you validate the likely success of your business before launch.  

Module Seven
The Countdown and Launch

LAUNCH

Outcome

Time to say, “Here I am!” – Implement your transition plan, gather feedback and course correct as necessary to set course for your first beta clients.
